Ondo State Election: Governor Akeredolu Of APC Defeats Jegede Of PDP Shocking With 292,830 And 195,791 Respectively

Ondo State Election Update:

The Governor of Ondo State and All Progressive Congress Governorship candidate of APC, Romiti Akeredolu has defeated Mr Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Mr Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP in the state.

According to results gathered, Governor Akeredolu of APC scored 292,830 votes; Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Mr Eyitayo Jegede scored 195,791 and Zenith Labour Party, ZLP governorship candidate, came out with 69,127 votes in the election.

Recall that is now the second time Governor Akeredolu is defeating the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, after defeated him to win his first term as governor in the year 2016, before Ajayi decided to against Aketi in this election.

While the Nigerian Constitution contested at the Election Petitions Tribunal after the election, or if there is any aggrieved parties, who was dissatisfied with Tribunal can proceed to the Court of Appeal, sequel to the Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan, Prof. Olayinka who announced Akeredolu as the winner at the collation centre in Akure.
